A native of Atlanta, Georgia is a devoted mother of two children, William and Carson, as well as a loving dog mom to her Golden Retriever, Winston. Her passion for animals began in her childhood, where she grew up surrounded by dogs, bunnies, birds and fish.
Anne was inspired to write her first book from her daily walks with Winston. She hopes children will enjoy reading about Winston’s love of picking up his own leash when it’s time for their walks, spotting squirrels and greeting other dogs along the way. And of course he never fails at finding his “Winsticks” as she calls them. She found so much joy in writing Winston Goes for a Walk that she didn’t want to stop there. Winston has now done yard work, gone to Gammie’s and School. The question now holds, what will Winston do next? And so, the adventure continues. Anne has also now created stuffed animals to coordinate with each book so children can snuggle with their own Winston as they read the book by themselves or with their parents. She is also coming out with “Winsticks” dog toys for dogs to enjoy.
Along with writing, Anne is an accomplished interior designer with a specialization in kitchens and home construction. Her work has been published in Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles magazine and featured in Martha Stewart and Peter Millar ads. In addition to her design work, she is a seasoned athlete, competitively raced in everything from 5k races to ultra marathons, triathlons and mountain competitions. She is also an enthusiastic skier and has coached high school volleyball, youth basketball and soccer teams.
Furthermore, Anne is a certified yoga instructor and enjoys traveling and exploring the world. Recently, she has discovered a new passion for writing children’s books which she hopes will be cherished by readers of all ages.
